Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Third Avenue (Third Avenue El) (Flint 41) by Louis Lozowick was sold in the Prints auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,481.25). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Lozowick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pittsburgh in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 386,500.00 (€ 304,474.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Third Avenue (Third Avenue El) (Flint 41) von Louis Lozowick wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Prints bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.481,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Lozowick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pittsburgh im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 386.500,00 (€ 304.474,55).
