Auction result well in line with expectations
In August this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash, which included the work Monte Carlo by Louis Icart. The price achieved of USD 2,304.00 (€ 2,125.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Louis Icart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elegante Et Fillette Au Levrier in March 2009 with an auction result of EUR 19,126.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monte Carlo von Louis Icart zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.304,00 (€ 2.125,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Icart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elegante Et Fillette Au Levrier im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.126,00.
