Auction result well in line with expectations
In August this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash, which included the work Arc-en-ciel (Rainbow) by Louis Icart. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,152.00 (€ 1,062.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Icart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elegante Et Fillette Au Levrier in March 2009 with an auction result of EUR 19,126.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arc-en-ciel (Rainbow) von Louis Icart zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.152,00 (€ 1.062,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Icart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elegante Et Fillette Au Levrier im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.126,00.
