Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Siesta by Los Carpinteros was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,350.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Los Carpinteros have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2016 the work Sala De Lectura Origami was auctioned for USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,903.46).

Die Arbeit La Siesta von Los Carpinteros wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.350,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Los Carpinteros konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2016 die Arbeit Sala De Lectura Origami für USD 50.000,00 (€ 44.903,46) versteigert.
