A top price for Los Carpinteros - as previously expected
The work Sala De Lectura Origami by Los Carpinteros was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2016. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,903.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sala De Lectura Origami is the most expensive artwork by Los Carpinteros that we have observed at auctions so far.
