In March 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated featuring works from “In Its Own Light: Property from the Collection of Ed Cohen and Victoria Shaw”, which included the work Pearl Farm I by Lisa Sanditz. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,257.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Lisa Sanditz have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Christmas Tree Farm was auctioned for USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,635.15).
