Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (After Ophelia) by Lisa Brice was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in October this year. It achieved a price of USD 6,985.00 (€ 6,609.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lisa Brice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No Bare Back, after Embah in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 3,166,000.00 (€ 2,804,996.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (After Ophelia) von Lisa Brice wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.985,00 (€ 6.609,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lisa Brice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No Bare Back, after Embah im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.166.000,00 (€ 2.804.996,90).
