Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Superbagnères-Luchon by Leonetto Cappiello was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June this year. The price achieved of USD 2,432.00 (€ 2,227.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonetto Cappiello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Campari, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 7,012.50 (€ 7,833.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Superbagnères-Luchon von Leonetto Cappiello wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.432,00 (€ 2.227,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonetto Cappiello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Campari beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 7.012,50 (€ 7.833,59) versteigert wurde.
