Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contratto by Leonetto Cappiello was sold in the Vintage Posters auction at Bonhams in London in February 2024. The price achieved of GBP 1,792.00 (€ 2,999.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,600.00 – 2,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonetto Cappiello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Campari, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 7,012.50 (€ 7,833.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Contratto von Leonetto Cappiello wurde im Februar 2024 in der Auktion Vintage Posters bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.792,00 (€ 2.999,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.600,00 – 2.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonetto Cappiello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Campari beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 7.012,50 (€ 7.833,59) versteigert wurde.
