Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bitter Campari by Leonetto Cappiello was auctioned at Bonhams in London in February 2024. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,352.00 (€ 7,283.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,600.00 – 4,600.00. Other works by Leonetto Cappiello have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2020 the work Campari was auctioned for GBP 7,012.50 (€ 7,833.59).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.352,00 (€ 7.283,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.600,00 – 4.600,00. Andere Arbeiten von Leonetto Cappiello konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2020 die Arbeit Campari für GBP 7.012,50 (€ 7.833,59) versteigert.
