Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Vintage Posters Online, which included the work Campari, L'Aperitivo by Leonetto Cappiello. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,408.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Leonetto Cappiello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Campari in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 7,012.50 (€ 7,833.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Vintage Posters Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Campari, L'Aperitivo von Leonetto Cappiello zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.408,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonetto Cappiello auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Campari im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.012,50 (€ 7.833,59).
