Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Maurin Quina Le Puy Liqueur Devil Poster by Leonetto Cappiello. The price achieved of USD 1,152.00 (€ 1,054.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Leonetto Cappiello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Campari in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 7,012.50 (€ 7,833.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maurin Quina Le Puy Liqueur Devil Poster von Leonetto Cappiello zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.152,00 (€ 1.054,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonetto Cappiello auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Campari im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.012,50 (€ 7.833,59).
