The work Taglio (Cut) by Leoncillo was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in October 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 217,486.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Leoncillo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grande Mutilazione in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 969,000.00.

Die Arbeit Taglio (Cut) von Leoncillo wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 217.486,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leoncillo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grande Mutilazione im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 969.000,00.
