Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Dattilografe by Leoncillo for EUR 37,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Mapping Modern and Contemporary Art at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leoncillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Mutilazione in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 969,000.00.
