A top price for Leoncillo
This artwork by Leoncillo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in November 2018. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Grande Mutilazione sold for EUR 969,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500,000.00. This high result makes Grande Mutilazione the most expensive artwork by Leoncillo that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Leoncillo erzielte im November 2018 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea wurde die Arbeit Grande Mutilazione für EUR 969.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 500.000,00.
