Sold at the upper estimate price
In November 2021 Christies in Milan held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale, which included the work Senza titolo by Leoncillo. The auction ended at the price of EUR 50,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leoncillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Mutilazione in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 969,000.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2021 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von Leoncillo zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 50.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 35.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leoncillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Mutilazione im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 969.000,00.
