Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (The World'S A Mess; It'S In My Kiss) by Larry Johnson was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2012. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,905.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Larry Johnson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Land Without Bread), which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 25,404.66).
