Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Larry Johnson could be acquired at Bonhams in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Discovery on Madison Online auction, the work Untitled (One Down, Three Across) changed hands for USD 204.00 (€ 192.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Johnson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Land Without Bread) in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 25,404.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Larry Johnson konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Discovery on Madison Online wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (One Down, Three Across) für USD 204,00 (€ 192,42) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Johnson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Land Without Bread) im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 25.404,66).
