Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Storyboard), 1995 by Larry Johnson for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,271.67). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Larry Johnson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Land Without Bread) in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 25,404.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Storyboard), 1995 von Larry Johnson für USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.271,67) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Larry Johnson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Land Without Bread) im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 25.404,66).
