Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Extended Family) by Larry Johnson for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,369.27). This price was achieved in the auction Phillips x Artsy Summer School at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Larry Johnson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Land Without Bread) in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 25,404.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Extended Family) von Larry Johnson für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.369,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy Summer School bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Larry Johnson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Land Without Bread) im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 25.404,66).
