Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Bonhams in New York held the auction Stonewall@50 Photographs Online, which included the work Untitled (Hmr) by Larry Johnson. The price achieved of USD 5,075.00 (€ 4,559.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Larry Johnson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Land Without Bread) in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 25,404.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Stonewall@50 Photographs Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Hmr) von Larry Johnson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.075,00 (€ 4.559,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Larry Johnson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Land Without Bread) im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 25.404,66).
