In June 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Untitled #1 by Lari Pittman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 88,200.00 (€ 74,442.94), 47% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lari Pittman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Transcendent Mutability Produced By Camouflage, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 225,000.00 (€ 204,657.09).

Im Juni 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled #1 von Lari Pittman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 74.442,94) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lari Pittman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Transcendent Mutability Produced By Camouflage beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 225.000,00 (€ 204.657,09) versteigert wurde.
