Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Phillips in 17 - held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, which included the work Counting to confront one's fatigue by Lari Pittman. The price achieved of USD 6,985.00 (€ 6,338.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lari Pittman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Transcendent Mutability Produced By Camouflage in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 204,657.09).

Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 17 - die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Counting to confront one's fatigue von Lari Pittman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.985,00 (€ 6.338,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lari Pittman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Transcendent Mutability Produced By Camouflage im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 204.657,09).
