Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Retrouvailles by Kees Verkade was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2012. The price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Kees Verkade have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Casmira dansant was auctioned for EUR 49,000.00.

Die Arbeit Les Retrouvailles von Kees Verkade kam im November 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kees Verkade konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2011 die Arbeit Casmira dansant für EUR 49.000,00 versteigert.
