Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000,000.00 – 80,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 60,002,500.00 (€ 47,268,394.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Kazimir Malevich have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Suprematist Composition was auctioned for USD 85,812,500.00 (€ 73,532,562.13).
