This artwork by Kay Sage achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2014. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Passionnément, Pas Du Tout sold for USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,662.76) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kay Sage achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Passage in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 4,338,500.00 (€ 5,263,644.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kay Sage erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Passionnément, Pas Du Tout für USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.662,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kay Sage erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Passage im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.338.500,00 (€ 5.263.644,43).
