In the Impressionist and Modern Day Sale auction, the work Dreamy Cars For Waterbury sold for USD 209,000.00 (€ 197,879.19) - well above the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kay Sage achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Passage in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 4,338,500.00 (€ 5,263,644.43).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Kay Sage erzielte im November 2015 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Dreamy Cars For Waterbury für USD 209.000,00 (€ 197.879,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kay Sage erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Passage im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.338.500,00 (€ 5.263.644,43).
