In February 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist, Modern & Surrealist Art Evening Sale, which included the work Journal Of A Conjuror by Kay Sage. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 225,000.00 (€ 260,775.51), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kay Sage achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Passage in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 4,338,500.00 (€ 5,263,644.43).

Im Februar 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist, Modern & Surrealist Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Journal Of A Conjuror von Kay Sage zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 225.000,00 (€ 260.775,51) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kay Sage erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Passage im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.338.500,00 (€ 5.263.644,43).
