The work M And Mmmm by Karl Wirsum was sold in the Art Contemporain auction at Christies in Paris in December 2014. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,375.00 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Wirsum achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Figure in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 104,738.85).

Die Arbeit M And Mmmm von Karl Wirsum wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Art Contemporain bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.375,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Wirsum erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Standing Figure im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 104.738,85).
