This work without title by Karl Wirsum was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2015. It achieved a price of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,307.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Wirsum achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Figure in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 104,738.85).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Karl Wirsum kam im Juli 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.307,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Wirsum erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Standing Figure im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 104.738,85).
