Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Curtsy by Justin Adian was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in July 2015. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 14,176.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Justin Adian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Non-Site Healing, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,209.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Curtsy von Justin Adian wurde im Juli 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 14.176,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Justin Adian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Non-Site Healing beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.209,36) versteigert wurde.
