Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Fun House by Justin Adian. The price achieved of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,441.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Justin Adian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Non-Site Healing in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,209.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fun House von Justin Adian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.441,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Justin Adian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Non-Site Healing im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.209,36).
