Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study For Self Portrait As World by Julie Heffernan was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2016. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 11,226.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julie Heffernan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self Portrait As Arms And The Men in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 45,494.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study For Self Portrait As World von Julie Heffernan kam im November 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 11.226,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julie Heffernan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self Portrait As Arms And The Men im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 45.494,99).
