The work Intellectual Lullaby by Julião Sarmento was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 69,127.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Julião Sarmento; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Emma 4 sold at auction in February 2004 with the realized price of GBP 50,190.00 (€ 74,936.04).

Die Arbeit Intellectual Lullaby von Julião Sarmento kam im März 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 69.127,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Julião Sarmento; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Emma 4 im Februar 2004 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 50.190,00 (€ 74.936,04).
