Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Julian Hoeber could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated featuring works from “In Its Own Light: Property from the Collection of Ed Cohen and Victoria Shaw” auction, the work In/Out And Dissolve changed hands for USD 3,375.00 (€ 3,154.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julian Hoeber have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Execution Changes #51 (VS, Q1, LLJ, LC, Q2, LRJ, LC) in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,364.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Julian Hoeber konnte im März 2017 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated featuring works from “In Its Own Light: Property from the Collection of Ed Cohen and Victoria Shaw” wechselte die Arbeit In/Out And Dissolve für USD 3.375,00 (€ 3.154,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julian Hoeber auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Execution Changes #51 (VS, Q1, LLJ, LC, Q2, LRJ, LC) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.364,62).
