Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Julian Hoeber could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated featuring works from “In Its Own Light: Property from the Collection of Ed Cohen and Victoria Shaw” auction, the work In/Out And Dissolve changed hands for USD 3,375.00 (€ 3,154.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julian Hoeber have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Execution Changes #51 (VS, Q1, LLJ, LC, Q2, LRJ, LC) in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,364.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
