Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Youth Nationalism by Jules de Balincourt for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,232.63). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules de Balincourt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work US World Studies II in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 277,250.00 (€ 337,161.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Youth Nationalism von Jules de Balincourt für USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.232,63) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules de Balincourt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit US World Studies II im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.250,00 (€ 337.161,81).
