The work Floating Through It by Jules de Balincourt was auctioned at Christies in London in October last year. It achieved a price of GBP 201,600.00 (€ 234,861.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jules de Balincourt; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot US World Studies II sold at auction in June 2010 with the realized price of GBP 277,250.00 (€ 337,161.81).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jules de Balincourt; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit US World Studies II im Juni 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 277.250,00 (€ 337.161,81).
