This artwork by Jules de Balincourt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December last year. In the New Now auction, the work Youth Nationalism sold for GBP 9,450.00 (€ 10,668.13) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules de Balincourt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work US World Studies II in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 277,250.00 (€ 337,161.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jules de Balincourt erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Youth Nationalism für GBP 9.450,00 (€ 10.668,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules de Balincourt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit US World Studies II im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.250,00 (€ 337.161,81).
