Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Nature morte à la cruche by Juan Gris for GBP 11,000.00 (€ 12,778.87). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Gris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La table de musicien in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 31,812,500.00 (€ 27,260,068.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nature morte à la cruche von Juan Gris für GBP 11.000,00 (€ 12.778,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Gris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La table de musicien im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.812.500,00 (€ 27.260.068,55).
