Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Nature morte à la cruche by Juan Gris for EUR 12,600.00. This price was achieved in the auction Art Moderne at Christies in Skinner Marlborough, Mass and was even below the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Gris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La table de musicien in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 31,812,500.00 (€ 27,260,068.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nature morte à la cruche von Juan Gris für EUR 12.600,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art Moderne bei Christies in Skinner Marlborough, Mass erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Gris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La table de musicien im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.812.500,00 (€ 27.260.068,55).
