The work Slats by Josephine Halvorson was sold in the 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,344.04). With this result, Slats is even the most expensive work of art by Josephine Halvorson that we have observed at auctions so far.
