Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Imminent Circuit by José Damasceno was sold in the Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in June 2009. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,125.00 (€ 15,401.75). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Damasceno - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eraser Sculpture, which sold at auction in September 2017 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,199.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Imminent Circuit von José Damasceno wurde im Juni 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.125,00 (€ 15.401,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von José Damasceno mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eraser Sculpture beobachtet, die im September 2017 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.199,10) versteigert wurde.
