Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Organograma by José Damasceno for EUR 896.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Bonhams in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José Damasceno achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eraser Sculpture in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,199.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Organograma von José Damasceno für EUR 896,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José Damasceno erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eraser Sculpture im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.199,10).
