Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by José Damasceno was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,279.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by José Damasceno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eraser Sculpture in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,199.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von José Damasceno kam im November 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.279,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José Damasceno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eraser Sculpture im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.199,10).
