Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The reception by Jordi Ribes was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March this year. It achieved a price of USD 69,850.00 (€ 64,247.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jordi Ribes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April last year for HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 167,577.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The reception von Jordi Ribes kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 69.850,00 (€ 64.247,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jordi Ribes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 167.577,49) versteigert wurde.
