Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Slide by Jordi Ribes was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 38,100.00 (€ 34,928.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jordi Ribes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April last year with an auction result of HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 167,577.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Slide von Jordi Ribes kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 38.100,00 (€ 34.928,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jordi Ribes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 167.577,49).
