Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Jordi Ribes. It changed hands for a price of GBP 17,780.00 (€ 20,743.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jordi Ribes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April last year with an auction result of HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 167,577.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jordi Ribes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 17.780,00 (€ 20.743,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jordi Ribes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 167.577,49).
