In September 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Self-Portrait In "Mirror #2" (Ara) by Jonathan Horowitz. The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 33,861.00) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jonathan Horowitz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Obama '08 in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 223,500.00 (€ 211,287.58).

Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-Portrait In "Mirror #2" (Ara) von Jonathan Horowitz zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 33.861,00) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jonathan Horowitz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Obama '08 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 223.500,00 (€ 211.287,58).
