Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Christies in London held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Larry Gagosian Is a Person Too by Jonathan Horowitz. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,616.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonathan Horowitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Obama '08 in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 223,500.00 (€ 211,287.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Larry Gagosian Is a Person Too von Jonathan Horowitz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.616,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Horowitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Obama '08 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 223.500,00 (€ 211.287,58).
