The work Still Life With 2 Statues by Jonathan Chapline was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2021. It achieved a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,752.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Jonathan Chapline have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Image Gallery (Collecting and Transcribing) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 224,383.56).

Die Arbeit Still Life With 2 Statues von Jonathan Chapline kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 30.752,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jonathan Chapline auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Image Gallery (Collecting and Transcribing) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 224.383,56).
